Janet Magnusson
(Bachelor of Nursing)
 Janet graduated from the University of Tasmania in 1993 with a bachelor of nursing degree. Her graduate year was spent at the Royal Hobart hospital. Janet commenced her career as an operating theatre nurse in 1994. She chose to specialise in perioperative nursing specifically in plastic surgery.
In 1996 she moved to Melbourne to realize these goals. Janet then completed a course in perioperative nursing at the Preston and Northcote Community Hospital.
Janet joined the Victorian Plastic Surgery Unit (VPSU) in 1997 based at the Mercy Private Hospital. This world renowned unit caters to 21 specialist plastic surgeons performing procedures covering the entire range of plastic surgery from aesthetic/cosmetic surgery to complex reconstructive surgery. Her role at the VPSU was as an operating theatre nurse.
In 1999 Janet furthered her career in plastic and reconstructive surgery working in sales and training for plastic surgery devices including breast implants, liposuction equipment, medical skin care products and post-surgical garments.
In 2001 Janet joined Dr Magnusson in his Toowoomba practice.
In her current role Janet provides a complementary cosmetic surgery advisory service, management of our antiaging treatments and a consultancy service for home skincare. Janet works closely with Dr Magnusson who is consulted and then coordinates the care for all patients. Because of her extensive experience in the many facets of plastic surgery, Janet is a valuable patient resource when questions arise regarding their treatment.

Toowoomba is located 120 kilometers west of Brisbane. It is reached by following the Warrego Highway from Ipswich. Our clinic is conveniently located on the corner of Margaret and Lindsay Streets on Toowoomba's eastern side. This is diagonally opposite the south east corner of Toowoomba's Queens Park.
