Scar Revision

Scar manipulation and scar revision has many modalities of treatment.

Many of these are not surgical. A plastic surgeon is trained to understand all modes of scar revision including: pressure therapy, steroid therapy, massage, silicone gel sheeting, surgical revision and radiotherapy.

This is particularly true of plastic surgeon with significant burns experience.
